 To understand the importance of the environmental aspects of the operations within Oceaneering, Goals and targets to reduce environmental waste are set by management in Oceaneering.

Oceaneering has Company goal of zero unintentional discharge to sea.

To fullfill this goal Oceaneering has an ongoing project going with StatoilHydro called "Tett Rigg".

The aim of the project is to map our systems for any lack of barriers which could cause spill of oil to sea.

All of our systems offshore shall have established a minimum of two barriers to prevent any spill of hydraulic oil from winches and deck high pressure units.

As an additonal barrier to the reduction of environmental waste, Oceaneering AS is on a  constant search of new, green and HOCNOF approved environmentally friendly lubricates for their ROV systems.

Our environment  is vulnerable - We care and will do what it takes to reduce the environmental waste from our operations.
