Oceaneering AS's (OAS) Integrated Management System covers QA-HSE and all other management systems in the company. The Integrated Management System fulfils the description for a Management system according to PSA's (Petroleum Safety Authority Norway) Framework regulations chapter IV and PSA's Management Regulations.
One of the main requirements OAS sat for this work is that the
information should be easily accessible;
- The current document shall always be available, from all
location, simultaneous
- All policies, procedures, instructions, forms, checklists,
organization charts, function descriptions, Internet & Intranet
links, etc. shall be easily available
- Avoid duplication and miss-match of documents through
electronically linking to the "original" document
- Process maps and symbols are used where possible instead of
text.
- The Management System is built up in a hierarchical
manner.
- Projects/locations can have individual setups where project

The Management System is available on the local network and on
the Oceanet (Oceaneering's world wide network). Access to the
Oceanet is controlled through UserID and password, and all OAS
employees can open the Management System over the Internet from
wherever they are located. When an employee opens the
Internet Explorer from the office or from a rig/vessel the
Management System is opened as the Internet Start Page, thus all
employees are directed to the Management System every time they
open the Internet.
