Oceaneering to Acquire Mechanica AS

December 6, 2011 – Houston, Texas – Oceaneering International, Inc. (NYSE:OII) announced that one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, Oceaneering AS, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mechanica AS. The transaction is subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority.

November 22, 2011 – Houston, Texas – Oceaneering International, Inc. (NYSE:OII) announced that its wholly owned Norwegian subsidiary, Oceaneering AS, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire AGR Field Operations (AGR FO) from AGR Group ASA (Oslo: AGR) and FieldCo Invest AS. AGR FO, headquartered in Bergen, Norway, is a provider of inspection, maintenance, subsea engineering, and field operations services, principally to the oil and gas industry.

NCA is an oilfield technology company that specializes in providing subsea tooling services used in the plugging, abandonment, and decommissioning of offshore oil and gas production platforms and subsea wellheads. In addition, NCA performs specialized maintenance and repair services on Norwegian offshore production platforms.
