All critical systems and components are dual redundant; Communication, Power, Motors etc. The Actuator includes a complete self diagnostic monitoring system which monitors all critical parameters; temperature, vibration, water, torque, position, power, operations etc.

The 100Nm Fail Safe Actuator is a ROV replaceable 90 deg. Electrical Actuator with a built in Spring Fail Safe System. In case of lost communication, power or any other detected critical system failure in either the actuator or surrounding subsea system, the actuator will immediately  go to Fail Safe Position.

The Actuator is normally equipped with two wetmateable electrical connectors for easy installation and connection by use of standard ROV systems.

Actuator and control system design allows for flexibility with regards to Power and Communication Protocol.

The Actuator is equipped with the Oceaneering Subsea All Electric Interface bucket special designed for use with replaceable actuators. This design allows for override of the valve by use of an ROV Manipulator.

The Actuator system is qualified for the Ormen Lange Subsea Compression
Station Pilot.
