ISO 13628-8 Class 1-4 interface
Actuator and control system design allows for flexibility with regards to Power and Communication Protocol.
The Actuator is normally equipped with wet mateable electrical
connectors for easy installation and connection by use of standard
ROV systems.
For a more robust and easy connection it can be equipped with a
inductive connector. This inductive connector will also make the
actuator total galvanic segregated from other systems.
The Actuator is equipped with the Oceaneering Subsea All Electric
modified ISO Class 4 Interface bucket special designed for use with
replaceable actuators. This design allows for override of the valve
by use of a common Class 4 ROV Operated Torque Tool. By operating a
clutch on the actuator hosing, the
Actuator output key is released allowing for easy installation or
removal of the actuator regardless of valve/actuator position and
possible misalignment.
